Our client is a non-profit company located in Boston, Ma. The company provides training and employment services to job seekers for 40 years. Its mission and passion are to empower the community of job seekers, the underemployed, and military veterans who need job support services to re-enter the workforce. They offer a variety of services including occupational and computer skills training, workshops, job search training and support, coaching and counseling, and some training programs that offer internships.
They are looking for a Senior Accountant who will be responsible for payroll, and financial reports, assisting the department with budgets, and produce cost reports in addition to supporting third-party audits as needed.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities
Accounts payable, receivable, and payroll
Create general ledger entries and reconcile accounts assigned by the Controller
Provide accounting support. Review financial details, translate data to fit new ledger formats, or generate information for reports
Process accounts payable and receivable. This responsibility will involve providing transaction details or creating invoices.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements
Senior Accountant Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred but not required.
Experience with Abila MIP is preferred but not required.
Highly proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively up, down, and across the organization
