Job Title Technical Quality Engineer This is a full-time onsite position (Lincoln, NE) in a highly collaborative environment working with other skilled software professionals to deliver high quality software to help clients improve the way they do business. The Quality Engineer will define, develop, test, and support technical and architectural solutions in complex environments that support Bank Solutions product strategies and address the market needs of Fiserv clients and their customers. Responsibilities: Lead manual and automated testing, analyze business and functional requires of the application and work with business users to understand project requirements to figure out the scope of test strategy for the project independently. Conduct team meeting to discuss status and issues. Participate in peer reviews of functional specification, application previews, and test plans/test cases. Attend weekly/daily reports to clients/partners based on the status of execution/defects. Design and execute test cases, generate test scripts, test scenarios, and review test cases. Assess test processes, create, implement testing strategies, and SQA strategies using Agile testing methodologies. Use Jira for defect management and qTest for the test management activities. Test Driven Development (TDD) and automated functional testing: X-unit, N-unit, Selenium, Playwright, MS-Test, Test Café, etc. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related field or equivalent work experience required. 5+ years of experience in web-based client server application software testing using manual and automated testing techniques. Experience with EMV/Chip technologies with an understanding of the TCP/IP protocols, AIX, and LINUX, payment emulators & domains, ASP.NET, C#, and Visual Basic. Ability to write medium to complex queries to retrieve data from relational databases (Progress OpenEdge), writing the payment utilities from scratch, define timelines, schedules, testing cycles, QA strategy documentation and automation. Knowledge of VISA, Mastercard, Discover, Amex, and debit payment applications; QA processes, methodologies, POSTMAN, and JMeter. Expertise in ISO 8583 and XML messaging format.
