Cost Accounting Supervisor
Location: Upper Saddle River, New Jersey (Hybrid role)
Compensation: $120,000 salary
Job Summary:
We‘re seeking a Cost Accounting Supervisor to join our dynamic client‘s team As a key player, you‘ll work closely with the Sr. Supply Chain Finance Manager to drive financial excellence, lead a small team, and enhance processes through technology and automation.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Direct financial assessments of Supply Chain impacts
  • Supervise financial closing processes (SOX compliance, balance sheet reconciliations)
  • Prepare, record, and evaluate journal entries
  • Maintain process documentation
  • Assist with monthly forecasting and variance assessments
  • Contribute to yearly operational planning, budgeting, and cost projections
  • Develop and implement process enhancements
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders
  • Provide data and analysis for audits
  • Oversee special projects
  • Inspire, engage, and develop team members
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor‘s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred)
  • 5-7 years of finance experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments
  • Supervisory experience required
  • Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office (Power BI experience a plus)
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of Information Systems and ERP Systems
