Position Overview: - Rock Island Sound is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Music Sales and Lessons Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and promoting our music lesson programs, coordinating schedules, and ensuring a seamless experience for students and instructors alike. Additionally, this position involves overseeing daily store operations, processing sales transactions, providing outstanding customer service, and participating in social media marketing and store-sponsored activities. Customer Engagement and Lesson Coordination: Welcome and assist customers with a warm and professional demeanor. Assess customer inquiries, understand their musical goals, and provide tailored recommendations for lessons. Coordinate and schedule music lessons with our team of skilled instructors. Communicate effectively with instructors, students, and parents to ensure smooth lesson execution. B. Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our musical instruments, accessories, and lesson offerings. Stay informed about industry trends and new arrivals to provide expert guidance to customers and potential students. C. Sales and Promotion: Proactively engage with customers to identify sales opportunities for music lessons. Promote and upsell lesson packages, classes, and workshops to potential students and parents. Collaborate with the sales team to enhance the overall customer experience. D. Cash and Point of Service Handling: Accurately process sales transactions, handle cash, and maintain meticulous records. Coordinate payments for music lessons, ensuring timely processing. E. Visual Merchandising: Contribute to maintaining an organized and visually appealing store layout. Assist in inventory management and restocking to ensure the availability of music lesson materials. F. Customer Support and Development: Address customer inquiries related to music lessons promptly and professionally. Resolve concerns or issues to the satisfaction of students and parents. Utilize customer feedback to refine marketing strategies and enhance the music lesson experience. G. Marketing and Events Coordination: Assist in developing marketing campaigns through social media and digital channels. Coordinate in-store events, workshops, and music lesson scheduling. H. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets, maintain a positive work environment, and ensure seamless coordination of music lessons. Participate in store events, promotions, and marketing initiatives. II. Qualifications: A passion for music and a commitment to exceptional customer service. Basic understanding of musical instruments and equipment; technical knowledge is a plus. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service. Previous sales experience in a retail environment is preferred but not required.
