Reporting to Global Applications Manager, the Applications Manager will be primarily responsible for the architecture, development, maintenance, and support for Custom applications using Microsoft technologies and closely managing the day-to-day tasks and operations of PLM Applications, data integration tools such as Alteryx and Talend. This role will lead projects related to new developments and upgrades. The candidate with excellent functional and technical skills, will interact with business users at all levels to analyze business process in supply chain and finance providing guidance and leading process improvement initiatives This role collaborates with application users, staff members, IT colleagues and other stakeholders including external vendors to define business requirements and system interfaces, assess available technologies, develop, and implement solutions. The primary focus of this role will be Microsoft technologies, data analytics applications including administering the SQL server databases. Also, this role will work with users of PLM (Aras) applications and collaborates with the IT infrastructure team to ensure the smooth functioning of applications ecosystem and its interfaces with other applications.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

•Design, develop, and implement full-stack software solutions using Microsoft technologies such as SharePoint, .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, Azure, SQL Server, Power Apps, Power BI and other related tools.

•Perform admin functions for Aras PLM platform and develop and support associated integrations with ERP and engineering applications.

•Administer and maintain the Alteryx data integration platform to support the data analytics need for various business group.

•Manage the SQL server databases for high availability and secured manner.

•Manage a high performing team of developers supporting applications and databases.

•Architect and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable applications that follow best practices and design principles

•Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to gather and refine project requirements and specifications

•Conduct code reviews and ensure that team members adhere to established coding standards and practices

•Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and techniques to improve software development processes and product quality

•Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and user guides

•Assist with the estimation and planning of software development tasks and projects

•Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues in a timely manner

•Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.

•Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.

•Staying up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.

•Managing the backlog of user's requests, planning resources, and applying agile framework deliver solutions align with business requirement in a predictable manner.

Requirements

•Bachelor's degree (or equivalent in Business Administration or related field) is required

•Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

•Previous supervisory/project management experience

•8+ years of experience in full-stack software development using Microsoft technologies.

•Strong proficiency in SharePoint C#, .NET, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, and SQL Server

•Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI)

•Proven experience in architecting and implementing scalable, secure, and maintainable applications.

•Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue)

•Experience in administering and developing extensions around the Aras PLM applications.

•Experience in data analytics tools like Alteryx, Talend etc.,

•Deep understanding of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies, design patterns

•Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills

•Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

•Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

•Experience with CI/CD tools and processes, such as Azure DevOps

•Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and related technologies.

Technology/Equipment: Proficiency in the use of technology including thorough understanding of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Knowledge of Oracle EBusiness Suite is a plus.
