The role of an Enterprise Applications Manager is critical within an organization’s IT department. This professional oversees and optimizes the suite of applications that drive core business functions. PLM Applications highly desired (Aras)

  1. Application Management:

    • Overseeing the entire lifecycle of enterprise applications, from selection and implementation to maintenance and upgrades.
    • Evaluating new applications and managing vendor relationships.
  2. System Integration:

    • Ensuring effective communication between different enterprise applications.
    • Streamlining processes and improving data flow across departments.
  3. Performance Monitoring:

    • Regularly assessing application performance.
    • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimization strategies.
  4. User Support and Training:

    • Providing end-user support.
    • Resolving application-related issues.
    • Conducting training sessions to enhance user proficiency.
  5. Security and Compliance:

    • Ensuring applications meet security standards and comply with regulations and organizational policies.
  6. Strategic Planning:

    • Collaborating with other departments to understand business needs.
    • Developing long-term strategies for application management and enhancement.
  7. Budget Management:

    • Managing the budget for enterprise applications.
    • Forecasting expenses and ensuring cost-efficiency.
  8. Project Management:

    • Leading projects related to deploying new applications or major updates.
    • Coordinating with stakeholders for timely and within-budget delivery
  • To excel in this role, a blend of technical expertise, managerial competencies, and soft skills is essential. Key skills include in-depth knowledge of enterprise applications (such as ERP, CRM, and HRM systems), analytical abilities, and proficiency in project management methodologies
  • ·       Design, develop, and implement full-stack software solutions using Microsoft technologies such as Sharepoint, .NET, C#, ASP.NET,         MVC, Web API, Azure, SQL Server, Power Apps, Power BI and other related tools.
  • ·       Perform admin functions for Aras PLM platform and develop and support associated integrations with ERP and engineering applications.
  • ·       Administer and maintain the Alteryx data integration platform to support the data analytics need for various business group.
  • ·       Manage the SQL server databases for high availability and secured manner.
  • ·       Manage a high performing team of developers supporting applications and databases.
  • ·       Architect and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable applications that follow best practices and design principles
  • ·       Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to gather and refine project requirements and specifications
  • ·       Conduct code reviews and ensure that team members adhere to established coding standards and practices
  • ·       Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and techniques to improve software development processes and product quality
  • ·       Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and user guides
  • ·       Assist with the estimation and planning of software development tasks and projects
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues in a timely manner
  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
  • Staying up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  • Managing the backlog of user’s requests, planning resources, and applying agile framework deliver solutions align with business requirement in a predictable manner.

Education:  Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent in Business Administration or related field) is required

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

·       Previous supervisory/project management experience

  • 8+ years of experience in full-stack software development using Microsoft technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in Sharepoint C#, .NET, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, and SQL Server
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI)
  • Proven experience in architecting and implementing scalable, secure, and maintainable applications.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue)
  • Experience in administering and developing extensions around the Aras PLM applications.
  • Experience in data analytics tools like Alteryx, Talend etc.,
  • Deep understanding of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies, design patterns
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and processes, such as Azure DevOps
  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and related technologies.
