This role is responsible for being the primary day-to-day contact for Franchisees and managing the development and execution of brand-building initiatives at the corporate and local level by ensuring goals are met through successful implementation of new store opening programs, new product roll outs, and strategic local store marketing plans.

Join the Salad Station Marketing team in navigating and shaping the brand's growth and success by establishing family-like connections with our guests, increasing same-store sales and growing our #lettucehelp community influence.

This is a full time on-site role for a Marketing Specialist position in Hammond, LA with 25% - 30% travel.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

Administrative

  • Assist in the execution of Discovery Days, FAC meetings, conferences, and other Salad Station events.
  • Office management support in all aspects, for example, ensuring supplies are well stocked, areas are kept clean
  • Assist Executive team with any requests, scheduling, and tasks
  • Create and execute a system to track and acknowledge life milestones with Franchise owners and Corporate Support Team. Examples: Franchise Anniversaries, New family members, Illness/Surgery, Birthdays.

Marketing

  • Effective communication with franchisees' marketing passions, needs, and ideas. Responding to their local marketing initiatives.
  • Assist franchisees in executing New Store Opening plan
  • On site assistance with local store marketing, training, and grand opening events.
  • Develop and execute local store marketing plan for assigned markets as an extension of national initiatives
  • Assist in the development and execution of market-wide events, promotions and programs to drive sales and traffic
  • Execute a local store marketing calendar for each location with clear objectives and initiatives
  • Work closely with individual locations and train team to execute their own local store marketing plan
  • Seek, market, and execute giveback night at each location per quarter
  • Oversee implementation of new LTOs, Rollouts, and marketing materials within corporate locations
  • Help each corporate store promote and generate catering orders to achieve the stores quarterly catering goal
  • Act as the local Salad Station Ambassador within Headquarters hometown of Hammond, attend networking opportunities to heighten visibility of the brand, deliver coupons, sampling, etc
  • Prepare and serve as liaison between corporate communications to franchisees

Qualifications:

  • Education/Training: Four-year college degree in marketing / marketing-related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Related Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in marketing required.
  • Ability to operate under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
  • Sound understanding of marketing principles.
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent working partnerships and interface with a variety of internal and external resources to attain organizational goals.
  • Ability to make sound, independent decisions.
  • Proficient organization and communication skills.
  • Able to work with various content management and online marketing systems.
  • Self-directed and highly motivated.
  • Efficient in Microsoft Outlook programs.
