  • Our client is a stable, well- established professional services firm located in Fairfield, NJ
  • They service Businesses in the hospitality space
  • This position is fully on site, Monday through Friday
  • In existence over 50 years, the company prides itself on employee retention, competitive compensation and a fun company culture.
  • The client is targeting someone with established hands-on collections experience

Responsibilities of the Accountant:

  • Handling Accounts Payable and Accounts receivable activities
  • Assisting the controller with Month end close activities, including reconciliations
  • Collections and following up on past due invoices
  • Assisting with the Audit process

Experience Preferred:

  • 2+ years experience
  • Experience in large or well-established service or HVAC Industry a major plus
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines
