We are seeking an Accountant to join our client's team. The Accounting professional will assist the Controller with Financial Reporting, General Ledger Maintenance, and Account Reconciliations. Their office is tucked away near Fairfield, NJ, accessible from Rt 80 and 287. The client is offering many perks such as Hybrid work capabilities, a flexible work schedule, plus 3 weeks PTO Please ensure you have Advanced Excel experience, as this is required for this opportunity. Accountant
Location: near Fairfield, NJ (Hybrid)
Salary: approx. $70-80k + Bonus

Responsibilities:
  • Month end close and submit packages to senior management
  • Process Journal entries
  • Financial Statement Analysis
  • Perform Variance Analysis
  • Reconcile Bank Accounts
  • Perform Profit and Loss Reports
Skills Needed:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+yrs Knowledge of GAAP and Accounting experience
  • Advanced Excel experience
  • Sage Software Experience, a plus
