Your Role: As a

Business Development Manager , you'll be a vital part of our team, driving sales growth, expanding our client base, and increasing revenue opportunities. Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets. Identifying and cultivating new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship-building efforts. Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, industry opportunities, and potential clients. Collaborating with the marketing team to develop compelling sales collateral, presentations, and proposals that showcase our company's capabilities and value proposition. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, developers, property owners, and other industry professionals. Leading the entire sales process from initial contact through contract negotiation, closing, and project kickoff. Collaborating with project management and operations teams to ensure seamless transition and delivery of projects to clients. Tracking sales metrics, analyzing performance data, and generating regular reports to monitor progress against sales targets and identify areas for improvement. Representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and generate leads. Enhance brand visibility and drive financial growth by coordinating with company leadership and our marketing team to analyze market trends and propose revenue-enhancing ideas. Create and grow our brand/market footprint while identifying and nurturing relationships to generate new business opportunities and partnerships. Attend industry events and meetings to stay updated on market conditions, competition, and cultivate relationships with clients and prospects. Provide regular updates to our management team on new business development activities and key performance indicators. Contribute to strategic planning efforts to align business development initiatives with company objectives and growth targets. Who We Are Looking For: Have at least 5+ years of experience in the South Florida construction industry with a successful track record of building relationships and a Bachelor’s degree. Are knowledgeable about the construction industry and eager to learn McKenzie’s products and offerings, with the ability to travel to customers as needed. Can concentrate on priority goals and consistently exceed them. Have a “can-do” approach and a natural ability to build relationships and establish trust. Are proactive, self-motivated, and have an adaptable perception to understand customers’ needs and priorities, offering effective solutions to them.
