Leidos is seeking a proactive Electrical Engineering expert with a solid foundation in construction management to become part of the National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) team. This position will focus on assisting the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Eastern Service Area (ESA) by managing construction initiatives in partnership with Project Engineers, Contracting Officer's Representatives, and Contracting Officers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to FAA Environmental, Safety, and Health regulations
  • Oversee on-site construction activities for FAA projects
  • Maintain precise daily logs of completed work
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the general contractor
  • Facilitate progress meetings, inspections, and contract finalization tasks
  • Prepare essential documentation and cost assessments for change orders
  • Evaluate contractor shop drawings and construction submissions

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 4 years of pertinent experience in construction or maintenance
  • Familiarity with construction techniques, building materials, and quality assurance
  • Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel
  • Ability to pass a government background investigation and drug test
  • Physical capability to navigate stairs, lift weights, and operate in demanding environments
  • Proficiency in the English language

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of International Building Codes and NFPA Codes
  • Experience with AutoCAD or Microstation software
  • Familiarity with Primavera or Microsoft Project
  • Previous involvement in government-related projects
