Oracle Director, Infrastructure Hardware Planning - Topeka, Kansas

The Director of Hardware Planning & Inventory Strategy will be responsible for leading a team that produces short-term, medium-term, and long-term plans for network hardware, data center materials, cabling, and low voltage labor needs. This role will also own the network hardware inventory strategy and strategic partnership decisions with low voltage contractors. A successful leader in this role will develop strong partnerships with the Supply Chain organization, Capacity Management, and Networking leadership to align hardware plans with data center project execution plans, new product introduction, end-of-life products, and available supply. This role will report to the Senior Director of Infrastructure Growth Management within the OCI Infrastructure Capacity organization and will be responsible for: Responsibilities: Producing 6, 12, and 18-month demand plans for network hardware, cabling, optics, data center materials, and low voltage vendor labor Negotiating contracts with low voltage vendors to ensure optimized commercials and SLA performance Maintaining cadence with all stakeholders to ensure planning accuracy Ensuring long-term plan and inventory strategy is integrated with the long-term hardware roadmap Automating and improving the hardware planning process and methodology Leading a team of 3-4 strategic planners Qualifications: 7-10 years in cloud/hyperscale networking or data center capacity planning 7-10 years of experience leading high-functioning teams Ability to communicate information to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders to tight deadlines and often shifting priorities Ability to work cross-functionally with sourcing, Supply Chain, Delivery, Network Capacity, Networking and Connectivity teams and gain buy-in to achieve a common goal
