PAYROLL DIRECTOR POSITION SUMMARY

As the Payroll Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll operations within our organization. You will manage a team to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees, compliance with relevant regulations, and implementation of payroll best practices. This role requires a meticulous attention to detail, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of payroll systems and processes.


PAYROLL DIRECTOR SCHEDULE

  • Full-Time
  • Monday - Friday

PAYROLL DIRECTOR MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • CPA or CPP certification preferred.
  • Experience in payroll management, with a track record of leadership and team management.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex payroll issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service mindset.
  • Proficient with ADP Workforce Now.

PAYROLL DIRECTOR ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in payroll operations.
  • Oversee the processing of payroll transactions accurately and on time.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
  • Manage payroll audits and reconciliations.
  • Implement and maintain efficient payroll processes and systems.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Stay current on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and submit payroll tax returns, reports, and other required documentation.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to resolve payroll-related issues and improve cross-functional processes.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for payroll-related inquiries.
