The project manager oversees high-priority IT Infrastructure and Cloud projects, often requiring considerable resources and high levels of functional integration. The IT Project Manager takes projects from design handoff through final implementation. The position interfaces with all areas affected by the project, including end users, distributors, and vendors; it also ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.

RESPONSIBILITIES: • Manage large infrastructure projects from inception to closing • Collaborate directly with the functional teams to define project scope and all required deliverables, activities, activity sequence, Work Break-down Structure (WBS) and work estimates to create a framework for the project schedule. • Work with stakeholders to prioritize and determine the project's acceptance criteria/critical success factors and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project • Ensure project objectives are met within the constraints of project scope, time, cost and quality • Actively monitor project dependencies and risks • Lead, motivate, manage and support assigned team members to ensure adherence to process and procedures and to maximize contribution to effectiveness and efficiency • Coordinate and communicate with project resources, internal team, stakeholders and vendors on all aspects of project progression/status • Actively manage risks including issue escalation and resolution • Provide guidance and support to more junior Project Managers

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: • 5+ years of relevant experience as a Project Manager in Information Technology disciplines. • Understanding of technology foundations. LAN/WAN, VoIP, mobile technologies, Microsoft Server and Active Directory, Mac/PC support, printing, and cloud technology (Azure/inTune, Office 365, Google Workspace). • Experience with IT hardware / new site IT start up projects would be a big plus • Active Certified associate in project management (CAPM) or Project+ or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
