We have an urgent and strong need for senior engineers in the team. These OCI services will provide compelling value to Oracle/OCI customers while continuing revenue acceleration and adoption at OCI. These offerings will compete with Microsoft Azure Data and AWS Data Services. All these key investments necessitate a business need for experienced engineers from the perspective of strengthening execution and driving thought leadership.

6-10+ years experience delivering and operating large scale, highly available distributed systems/managed services.

* Strong knowledge of Java/golang/C++ * Proficient with data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals. * Good understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures. * Deep understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage and distributed persistence technologies. * Strong understanding of Linux * Strong problem determination, problem resolution and performance tuning skills. * Experience building multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure and/or working on open source software/contributions to open source Redis/memcached/Cassandra/PSQL a strong plus.
