Job Title: Senior Technical Support Engineer
Location: Fremont, CA or Pleasanton, CA
Job Type: Contract W2

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our dynamic team at our Fremont, CA, or Pleasanton, CA location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and supporting large-scale IT infrastructures, particularly in environments involving both Windows and Mac OS systems. This role requires the ability to manage hundreds of computer servers and lead a large team of support staff to ensure the seamless operation of our IT services.

Key Responsibilities:
Server Management: Oversee the management, configuration, and maintenance of hundreds of Windows and Mac OS servers to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Technical Support: Provide expert-level support for all technical issues related to Windows and Mac OS systems, ensuring timely resolution of problems.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of 100+ technical support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to maintain a high level of service.
System Monitoring: Implement and oversee system monitoring processes to proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact operations.
Incident Management: Handle escalations and major incidents, ensuring quick resolution and minimal downtime.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of all systems, processes, and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in operations.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions and support.
Security Compliance: Ensure that all systems and processes comply with relevant security standards and best practices.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in a technical support or IT infrastructure management role.
Extensive experience with Windows and Mac OS environments.
Proven ability to manage and support large-scale IT infrastructures with hundreds of servers.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing large teams of technical support staff.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CompTIA A+, Apple Certified Support Professional) are a plus.
