Company: SimplyHome Job Title: Service Coordinator Department: Maintenance Reports to: Service Operations Manager Status: Full Time / Non-Exempt / Hourly Job Summary We are actively seeking an experienced Service Coordinator. They must be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people including customers and staff. The ideal candidate will be very organized and be able to maintain professionalism. The primary duties include dispatch maintenance request needs on behalf of tenant for repairs and will act as the liaison between vendors and tenants. This role will report directly to the Service Operations Manager. Duties/Responsibilities
  • Act as the liaison between the vendor and tenant by effectively communicating with all parties positively and effectively
  • Listen to the needs of the tenant and respond accordingly/dispute resolution to provide the best outcome for the business and individual
  • Provide a positive customer experience by keeping in contact with necessary tenants and act with sincerity to the tenants needs
  • Interact with service managers and vendors accordingly to coordinate repairs as needed
  • Create, manage, and dispatch work orders through the property management software
  • Works independently within established procedures associated with the job function and performs additional special projects as delegated by the Operations Manager
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Ability to build positive rapport with individuals at all levels of the organization, as well as outside the company.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and a strong customer-focused demeanor with demanding clientele.
  • Excellent time management skills, detail-orientation and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills and proficient in English. Must be able to articulate needs and convey information verbally and in writing effectively with employees, customers, supervisors, and co-workers throughout the organization.

Education/Experience Requirements
  • Must have minimum of 3 years experience in providing good customer service
  • Must have minimum of 2 years experience in property/maintenance management
  • Knowledge of basic operations and maintenance needs required for single family homes
  • Must have an Associates degree or higher
  • Dispatch experience a plus
  • Fluent in Spanish a plus
