Description
Job Title: Client Services Associate
Reports To: The Client Services Associate will report to the Client Services Supervisor, Client Services Manager, or equivalent leadership.
Job Overview:
The Client Services Associate provides exceptional office and mail services, delivering operational functions in the following areas: processing of inbound/outbound mail, distributing/delivering of mail, shipping and receiving product and supplies to support onsite business service center, replenishing/organizing/ordering office supplies (pens, paper, toner), insuring copy/print machines are functional and stocked, serving as a backup to the front of office (reception/concierge), and providing light maintenance/cleaning.
Overall, this position continuously offers the highest level of service to all client and SPS employees while maintaining a professional image of the company by providing prompt, courteous and efficient service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides 5-star customer service to all employees (in all forms of communication).
- Order acceptance and delivery.
- Visually inspect cartons for damage, and reconciliation of shipment with shipping documentation.
- Asset tag & update asset data repository.
- Provide secure warehousing of assets
- Perform asset pickup and delivery onsite.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of assets and associated hardware
- Provides oversight and audit function for assets received into database
- Submit monthly touch count reports
- Work effectively and efficiently with cross-functional teams.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including training.
- Wipe all data from the hard drives of desktop or laptop PC's which are no longer in use and are planned for disposal.
- Deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face.
- Travel to assigned locations to perform the duties as required.
- Work may require in excess of a regular, full-time work week including nights and weekends to perform the essential duties of the job (OT paid)
- Emphasis on extreme attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through.
- Possess technical aptitude both hardware and software.
- Possess relevant IT skills in basic MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
- Possess basic to advanced IT hardware skills especially in product identification.
- Ability to quickly learn various inventory systems with probable remote training.
- Very strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through skills
- Able to work independently with some direction
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills for a challenging and customer focused working environment.
- Professional demeanor
- Able to perform basic math functions
- Perform lifting up to 50 lbs. Standing and walking required.
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
- 1+ years prior work experience preferred.
- Ability to work assigned work hours determined by manager.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Current knowledge or ability to learn computer-based systems required for functions of position.
- Required to maintain an overall professional appearance and attitude.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures required.
- Approximately 50% of the time this position requires the below physical demands.
- Fine and/or gross motor skills, including the ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 60 lbs.
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for an extended period of time.
- Manual dexterity required for operating office machinery (phone, copy machines, binding equipment, etc.).
- Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater frequently.
- Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record
- May be required to travel to alternate site locations (within 45-50 miles)
