Senior Director, Sales

The Senior Director of Sales and Marketing is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing both the marketing and membership departments of our association. This role is charged with developing and executing robust sales strategies alongside comprehensive marketing plans to enhance brand visibility, drive membership growth, and significantly increase revenue. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of analytical and creative skills, demonstrating expertise in market penetration, customer engagement, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities: ·Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement integrated sales and marketing strategies that align with the association's strategic goals. Lead both departments towards achieving these business objectives.
·Sales Management: Direct the sales efforts in pipeline development, client acquisition, and revenue generation. Set ambitious sales targets and establish monitoring systems to track progress.
·Brand and Marketing Management: Maintain and elevate the association's brand identity across all channels, ensuring consistency in messaging and the high quality of marketing materials.
·Campaign Management: Oversee the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns, both digital and traditional, to enhance product visibility and engagement.
·Membership Growth: Design and execute innovative campaigns to not only attract new members but also increase retention rates, thereby enhancing overall membership value.
·Digital Marketing and Sales Tools: Leverage advanced digital tools for marketing and sales, including CRM systems, to optimize the customer journey and improve conversion rates.
·Performance Metrics: Utilize analytics to gauge the effectiveness of sales and marketing strategies. Adjust plans based on data-driven insights to optimize results.
·Team Development: Mentor and develop the membership, sales and marketing teams, promoting a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
·Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that sales and marketing efforts are well-integrated and that they support the broader organizational objectives.
Required Qualifications: ·Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
·Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing, with a proven track record in leading successful teams and meeting or exceeding targets.
·Demonstrated ability to develop strategic sales and marketing plans that achieve significant revenue growth.
·Strong leadership skills, capable of driving and inspiring teams to meet ambitious goals.
·Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization and with external partners.
·High proficiency with digital marketing strategies, CRM software, and sales analytics tools.

Compensation: Starting Salary $150,000 annual plus comprehensive health benefits, employer 9% retirement plan contribution and opportunities for professional development.
