Warehouse Operations Manager

We are looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our warehouse operations in North Brunswick, NJ. You will work closely with our warehouse department to ensure the seamless flow across all of our warehousing operations.

You will be responsible for managing/overseeing the receiving, shipping, returns, inventory, admin, and facilities departments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•                    Manage the receiving, from unloading trucks (UPS, FedEx, and freight) until the item is put in the proper location. Includes item count, data entry, and ensuring proper placement of products.

•                    Overseeing inventory control and quality assurance, and ensuring that incoming and outgoing inventory is processed on schedule

•                    Coordinating shipments and ensuring delivery deadlines are met

•                    Supervise labeling of incoming products

•                    Manage Returns process including receiving, sorting, and inventory management

•                    Maintain accurate documents, including Packing Slips, Bills of Lading, etc.

•                    Coordinate with other managers regarding shipping products same day they are received

•                    Leading and motivating the team, training new employees, and appraising staff performance

•                    Inspecting, maintaining, and managing warehouse equipment and vehicles, and ensuring they are used safely and effectively

•                    Liaising with clients, suppliers, and transport companies, and communicating and collaborating with other team members

•                    Constantly working to improve processes, making suggestions for productivity improvements, and optimizing employee workflow

•                    Perform other assigned duties that are within the area of receiving

Job Requirements:

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time

•                    Ability to work in a fast-paced noisy environment, subject to varying extreme temperatures
