Coordinating the reservations and set up of the conference rooms.Understanding the local market and utilizing this knowledge when presenting information to perspective guests.Outstanding communication and negotiation ability.What are we looking for?Minimum high school diploma. Higher level education preferred.One or more years of experience working in a hotel, clerical or sales. Previous experience working in a similar role.Good computer skills; proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and Knowledge of sales and marketing modules like DelphiWilling to travel and must possess a valid driving license.Due to the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry, the Sales Coordinator may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel, including but not limited to weekends and holidays.Must have basic Reading, Writing, and Math skills.Customer Service Skills required.Prioritization and time management skills required.Must have a strong attention to detail.Problem-solving ability.
