Pay Details: The starting hourly rate range for this position is $30.00 to $36.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate offered will take internal value, peer equity, job-related factors, and other organizational considerations into account.

The AAM & ARTIC Staff Accountant plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the financial operations of Anaheim Arena Management, LLC, ARTIC, and its related entities. This role’s primary responsibility will be to process and assist with various accounting and reporting tasks, ensure compliance with established accounting principles and procedures, and provide support to management and cross-functional teams as needed. With strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset, where change is expected and “on-your-feet” thinking is commonplace, the AAM & ARTIC Staff Accountant dynamically contributes to the efficient and effective functioning of the ocVBE Accounting and Finance department. Responsibilities Prepare and record journal entries accurately and timely as part of the monthly closing process

Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, perform thorough account analyses and transaction research, and resolve issues and discrepancies timely

Utilize the financial ERP system efficiently and effectively to support transaction processing, research, analysis and reporting

Prepare and provide supporting documentation to requesting parties as needed

Provide accounting support to certain internal cross-functional teams, including assistance with periodic forecasting/budgeting and cash flow planning

Support various external third-party audits when necessary

Collaborate with other team members and management towards the continuous improvement of internal processes, procedures, and controls within the department

Assist in special projects and ad-hoc reporting as assigned

Perform and complete event settlements directly with the associated external promoter(s).

Skills High School Diploma or equivalent

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required

2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment

Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O software is preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong analytical abilities

Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly and independently and consistently meet or exceed deadlines

Excellent time management and organizational abilities

A highly-motivated and energetic team player with strong customer service focus and interpersonal skills

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Education –

Bachelor’s Degree Experience Required –
