Responsibilities Work closely with the Category Leads, especially for HR categories (Benefits, Learning and Development, Relocation, Talent Acquisition, Rewards & Recognition) and Professional Services (Temp Labor, Consulting, Financial Services, Business Process Outsourcing, Translations) to gather business requirements from stakeholders to source a good or service from a third-party vendor. Work closely with the Contract Leads to ensure that agreed upon terms and conditions are accurately reflected from proposal and award through contracting. Interface with both Coupa Contract Life Cycle Management (CLM) and Coupa Sourcing Optimization (CSO) depending on the opportunity. Create a sourcing pipeline of future events to enable forecasting. Lead cross-functional teams through the sourcing process including individuals outside of the procurement organization. Drive governance and consistency in sourcing to ensure a standardized approach. Collaborate to constantly refine sourcing templates for RFI, RFQ, and RFP. Negotiate pricing for quotes in context of the purchase and the larger partnership with the third-party vendor. Use market intelligence to understand industry benchmarks, best practices, market dynamics, etc. Collaborate on evaluation criteria and lead a core team through the scoring process. Submit and validate third party due diligence requests as inputs to infer awards through the sourcing process. Align with local and global finance representatives to ensure consistency in reported spend v savings and actuals with third-party vendors. Use a savings management system as a system of record. Ensure sourcing process is fair, ethical, and provides equal opportunity to all participants.
