The Position

The Analyst, Tax position offers an outstanding opportunity for individuals seeking an exciting, high-growth work environment in one of the most important industries of the 21st century. This position will report directly to the Manager, Tax, and will support tax provision, income tax compliance, and tax planning.

Responsibilities

Prepare year-end tax estimates for financial statement and external stakeholder purposes.

Prepare federal, state, and informational returns in-house.

Prepare year-end tax provision and Income Taxes footnote.

Review organizational and operating documents for new and existing projects.

Conduct ad hoc research on tax technical issues, deadlines, and stakeholder questions.

Perform periodic taxable income projections and modeling.

Qualifications

The ideal Analyst, Tax will have:

0-2 years of tax experience with a focus on federal and state partnership returns.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Experience with Oracle NetSuite and/or CCH Axcess is a plus.

A desire to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain a positive attitude, and embrace daily challenges.

The ability to communicate professionally (both verbal and written) with internal and external stakeholders.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. A Master’s degree in Taxation or Accountancy is a plus.
