The Bilingual Credit & Collections Analyst will be responsible for managing and collecting on a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely payments and maintaining excellent customer relationships. The role requires fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.

Bilingual Credit & Collections Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile customer accounts by verifying discrepancies and resolving billing issues
  • Ensure all payments are accurately applied and accounts are balanced
  • Conduct thorough research on disputed charges to identify the cause of discrepancies
  • Backtrack through transaction history to find errors or issues leading to disputes
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary information for resolving disputes
  • Reach out to customers via phone, email and mail to discuss account discrepancies and disputed charges
  • Provide clear and concise explanations to customers regarding the findings of the dispute research
  • Negotiate and establish payment plans or settlements when necessary
  • Maintain detailed records of all communications and actions taken to resolve account discrepancies and disputes
  • Prepare regular reports on account reconciliation status, dispute resolution outcomes and collection activities
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on account analysis and dispute trends
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations and legal requirements related to collections and dispute resolution
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information and adhere to data protection policies

Bilingual Credit & Collections Analyst Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in credit and collections, preferably in a B2B environment
  • Experience in analyzing financial statements and credit reports
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
