Responsibilities & Qualifications

As a Safety Services Representative I, you will:
  • Answer inbound phone calls and emails from policyholders, agents, injured workers, and other internal and external stakeholders to resolve routine inquiries related to safety information and resources.
  • Use communication and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues by employing online systems to locate, review, and understand solutions that meet the customer's needs.
  • Explain, verbally and in writing, safety-related education to customers regarding accident prevention resources, such as how-to documents, FAQs, safety videos, webinars, and other online content.
  • Conduct policyholder outreach via outbound calls and emails to offer accident prevention services and schedule virtual survey consultations.
  • Enter and maintain timely data entry into company systems and electronic records to ensure accuracy and compliance within established time and quality standards.
  • Provide administrative support to safety services consultants by writing and sending routine correspondence to policyholders and internal stakeholders, via letters and email.
  • Receive customer feedback and identify and elevate areas for service improvement to management.
Required Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Up to two years of customer service, call center, safety & health, or insurance industry experience or equivalent education, training, or experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving, listening, communication, computer, and customer service skills.
Training and in-office expectations:
  • Training spans 12 weeks and we will help to ensure you are prepared and successful in your new career.
  • Training adheres to the flex-hybrid schedule and is comprised of on-site and virtual training, with at least two mandatory in-office days per month.
Flex-Hybrid Work Environment:

Texas Mutual's flex-hybrid schedule allows you to bring your best self to work by working remotely and collaborating in the office based on business needs. All Texas Mutual employees are required to have Texas residency and travel to their designated office as needed.
