**How you will contribute to our Purpose:**
The YMCA of Austin is a dynamic, equitable force in the community that helps people of all backgrounds improve their total wellbeing and quality of life. Founded in 1953 and anchored in three Central Texas counties, the Y is a $40 million community enterprise that serves nearly 100,000 people annually through eight centers. We also provide afterschool education and care at more than 70 licensed campuses in four school districts. As the **Customer Service Representative I** at EACY, you are responsible for duties related to greeting clients in person and by phone, enrollment, accepting payments, and general inquiries from customers and potential customers. The Customer Service Representative I has first contact with our customers and plays a key role in the Y's mission by helping parents enroll their children in affordable, quality childcare.
**Pay Rate:** $15.00 per hour
**Availability:** Monday through Friday 12:00p.m. - 5:00p.m.

* You provide billing and payment information to clients
* You open the safe in the morning and close the register in the evenings.
* You answer and transfer calls on a multi-line telephone system.
**What you bring to the Purpose:**
* **Education and Experience:** You are a minimum of 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. You Have at least one year of customer service experience. You are knowledgeable with Microsoft Excel and Word programs. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
