Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Quality Assurance Engineer II (QAII) for a contract-to-hire position. This role demands a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end systems, with the ability to write SQL queries to pull back necessary data. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of handling multiple complex applications and be proficient in SQL. Experience with Azure DevOps is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough testing of front-end and back-end applications to ensure data flows as expected
  • Utilize SQL for data validation and testing purposes
  • Manage and execute test plans to ensure the accuracy and functionality of multiple complex applications
  • Collaborate with QA team members based in different locations, including Atlanta and offshore (India), to ensure seamless integration and testing processes
  • Cover West Coast hours to provide continuous QA support as Atlanta team signs off for the day
  • Maintain and enhance the QA process using Azure DevOps
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, with strong front-end and back-end testing skills
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps
  • Ability to handle multiple complex applications simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively across different time zones.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with working in a Fortune 500 company environment
Location
  • Ideally based in Tempe, AZ to cover West Coast hours.
