Job Description

This position supports and leads advanced functions associated with the administration of the company's employee benefits. You will play a crucial role in managing and administering employee benefits and retirement programs for approximately 11,000 employees across the United States and Canada. Reporting to the Benefits Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of benefits, fostering employee understanding and engagement with benefit offerings, and staying abreast of industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance. This position coordinates and supports all aspects of employee benefits, including but not limited to health insurance, dental, vision, voluntary life insurance, short-term disability (STD), long-term disability insurance (LTD), health savings accounts, employee assistance programs (EAP), COBRA administration, company wellness initiatives, 401K, and accounts reconciliation. This position is the Company's point of contact for all employee benefits, assisting with employee insurance benefit inquiries and claims resolution issues. As a senior member of the team, you will also mentor and guide junior benefits staff.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years related Benefits Administration or HR Generalist experience.
  • HR Certification a plus.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
  • Proficiency with UKG Pro or other HRIS and benefits administration software is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of employee benefits principles, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and ask questions as appropriate.
  • Customer-focused attitude, with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Desire to work with day-to-day administrative processes.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Physical activity may include:
