Location: US: WI: WEST BEND at our FROEDTERT WEST BEND HOSPITAL facility.

This role is ON-SITE.

Sign-On Bonus Available: $5,000.00

Shift: Shift 4
Every other weekend (Sat/Sun) at Froedtert West Bend Hospital. Varied 2nd shift hours during the week between Menomonee Falls and West Bend.

Job Summary:
Conducts MRI examinations under the supervision of a radiologist and guidance of a senior MRI Imaging Specialist. This role involves collaboration with imaging personnel, nursing staff, physicians, patients, and visitors. Serves as a knowledgeable resource for MRI technical matters and adheres to established protocols and guidelines. Operates MRI machinery and associated equipment, prepares the scanning environment, including equipment, supplies, and medications. Additionally, this individual is responsible for maintaining images and archiving patient-related data. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

Experience as an MRI Imaging Specialist is preferred, but not mandatory.

One to three years of relevant experience is preferred.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Graduation from a JCERT accredited two-year or four-year radiologic technology, nuclear medicine program, or MRI program is required.
A two or four-year degree in radiologic technology, healthcare, business, or a related field is preferred.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

Successful completion of a cross-sectional anatomy course is required.

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

Proficiency and demonstrated skill in IV insertion and contrast administration; ability to integrate new procedures into daily work is essential.

LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:

ARRT registration is required. Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-MR must be obtained within 18 months of employment.
BCLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

State of WI license in Radiologic Technology is necessary if the incumbent performs CT, general radiography, or any imaging utilizing ionizing radiation; if the practice is limited to MRI and/or Ultrasound, no state license is required.
