Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards, ensure compliance, and recommend corrective actions. Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and develop action plans to prevent recurrence. Coordinate and deliver HSE training programs for all employees and contractors. Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement. Manage emergency response plans and conduct regular drills. Collaborate with operational teams to integrate HSE best practices into all activities. Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to health, safety, and environmental management. Prepare and submit regulatory reports and documentation as required. Promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship across the organization. Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure all operations are compliant with oil & gas industry-specific regulations and standards. Develop risk assessments and safety plans for complex oil & gas projects, ensuring all potential hazards are identified and mitigated. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably within the power generation or oil & gas sectors. Comprehensive knowledge of HSE regulations and standards specific to the oil & gas industry. Proven ability to develop and implement effective HSE programs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, NEBOSH) is highly desirable. Experience with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 standards is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
