Job Overview

We are on the lookout for a talented and seasoned Senior Facility | Process Safety Engineer to become a vital part of our team, focusing on pioneering process engineering solutions tailored for our high-pressure polyethylene division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in safety assessments including HAZID, HAZOP/PHA, and IL/LoPA.
  • Support project design evaluations, encompassing P&ID reviews and constructability assessments.
  • Draft safety evaluations and documentation such as Dispersion Modelling, Blast/Overpressure Studies, and Risk Assessments.
  • Lead external safety evaluations for clients.
  • Formulate relief philosophies and other safety-centric methodologies.
  • Oversee relief design aspects on various projects.
  • Troubleshoot process safety-related engineering challenges.
  • Maintain a comprehensive safety standards library.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in process safety.
  • Certification as a PHA facilitator.
  • Experience with petrochemical capital projects is preferred.
  • Familiarity with PHA, modeling, and QRA software is desirable.
  • Experience with process controls and DCS/SIS systems is advantageous.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities coupled with excellent communication skills.
