Job scope:

The Field Service Engineer Specialist is responsible for our customers' support to achieve high equipment optimization by working on all products' Life Cycle from installation, testing and commissioning, inspection and maintenance, and remote and on-site troubleshooting. Specific activities for the job are:

  • Install, test, start-up, automation products and systems including PLCs (Rockwell, Siemens), and Scada (ECS).
  • Train customers on newly installed or upgraded systems.
  • Repair and assist with maintaining instruments and equipment on-site and remotely.
  • Assist Sales and Engineering departments to specify solutions for new systems and upgrades.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in a safe manner and in compliance with all applicable safety rules and regulations.
Responsibilities & Experience:
  • Ability to write timely, concise, professional reports that support your analysis and recommendations.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in PLC systems including Rockwell and Siemens; HMIs Scada systems.
  • Microsoft OS and Server HW / SW, Network / Switch set up, knowledge of Virtualization for Server and Stations.
  • BS (Electrical Engineering preferred, but other science or engineering degrees may be acceptable).
  • Previous experience in providing technical support on industrial equipment highly preferred.
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
  • Deliver results and satisfy customer needs and requirements.
