Account Manager - RM The Account Manager directly reports to the VP of Operations for the maintenance and enhancement of the security program for its assigned site. The Account Manager is expected to align, improve, and maintain a working relationship with the client. The ideal candidate must develop a professional security staff, coordinate support services, effectively supervise the security staff, and meet and exceed the operational goals of the client. The Account Manager’s performance will be evaluated based on, but not limited to staff development, contract compliance, quality customer service, training standards, and maintaining optimum operational practices. The account manager will be working as a uniformed officer. Schedule: Monday -Friday / Hours TBD Compensation is $66,560 Salary Essential Functions: Identify, interviewing and hire quality security staffing. Develop a professional security staff through training and performance management. Provide access to employees and/or contractors requiring access to sensitive areas of the site. Populate, review, and close physical incident reports reported by security team. Prepare staffing schedules to ensure the most efficient use of resources. Assist in overseeing payroll functions, including daily time sheet reviews and submitting payroll by established deadlines. Develop / maintain site-specific post orders, which are available for use by the security staff. Perform account audits and inspections, determine corrective action, implement solution and follow up. Meet regularly with the VP of Operations and offer technical expertise and solutions. This also includes ongoing meeting with customer. Provide an on-going method of communication with employees, clients and/or contractors. Address employee concerns in a timely and professional manner. Ensure employees are properly hired, assigned, trained on duty and paid in accordance with Genesis policies. Evaluate performance, write performance evaluations, and conduct personnel related inquiries as assigned; prepare counseling and disciplinary reports as necessary. Must be on call 24/7. Perform other related duties as assigned by upper management. Qualifications: - High School graduate (or equivalent), some college preferred, + 3 years business/security experience - Pass Criminal Background and Drug Screening - Valid Driver's license, with at least three years verifiable driving history - Valid State License (Guard Card) - Computer Proficient with PC Applications (Microsoft Office Suite) - Flexible work schedule may include working nights, weekends, and holidays - Financial / mathematical aptitude - Good-to-excellent verbal and written skills - Motivated, able to work well both independently and part of a team - Management/people leading experience - Ability to use defensive maneuvers/techniques to defend self/others if needed - Conflict resolution skills, ability to deal with difficult people/situations and remain Professional
