**Description**

**Position Summary:**

Primary function is to *drive profitable sales revenue* for the enterprise into the specified geographically assigned Region. Manage, lead and drive all activities related to the commercial sales of all Durcon products. Accountable for coordinating cross-functionally with all relevant business units in order to provide leadership in all commercial face-to-market resource information which is related to customer and market interactions. Provide to the enterprise the customer advocacy and voice of customer perspective internally to influence service and product expansion opportunities in addition to the essential support of expansion of the core product sales and merchandising efforts of the business.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

* Define and develop all key customer relationships to drive market revenue and achieve share objectives

* Identify key targeted growth accounts & develop relationships to sell enterprise products to specified accounts

* Ability to create, craft, design and present products & programs to large & small internal/external audiences

* Develop and use channel screening tools to identify best targets.

* Identify and convert key dealers/fabricators/distributors into Durcon customers.

* Develop and manage local territory marketing plan, manage budget effectively, and deliver stated results

* Conduct all market profiling activities in advance of entering region, including dealers, fabricators and distributors; Maintain database once in territory

* Support fabrication seminars to customers with Product Specialist.

* Assist in developing and maintaining expertise in product fabrication.

* Coordinate/Follow-up with internal sales team to gain new customers.

* Distribute displays, trade shows and installation materials.

* Perform other tasks as required.

**Additional Responsibilities:**

* Travel to customer destinations.

* Document competitive and all other field activitiesprovide accurate pricing and competitive service data.

* Accurately report and drive market/customer opportunities for the business

* Identify best practices that directly address the needs of the customer

**Qualification/Requirements:**

* Strong presentation skills

* Strong relationship building skills and demonstrated territory management success

* Strong Sales Persuasiveness, negotiation, and needs identification skills

* Demonstrated ability to communicate well in verbal/written forms with all levels inside/outside of the organization.

* Demonstrated ability to sell products & negotiate agreements/contracts with customers ownership or their senior management.

* Ability to travel 65-80

* Knowledge of computers sufficient to utilize word processors, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and databases.

* Tasks involve pushing/pulling, lifting and standing or using force equal to handling materials of 20 to 50 pounds

* Appropriate driver license with clear driving record; personal auto insurance with minimums meeting or exceeding state requirements

**Educational/Training/ Experience:**

* A four-year college degree with a concentration in Marketing/Business Administration or a related field;

* 7-10 years of sales/marketing/customer service experience. (One additional year of experience may substitute for one year of required education with a maximum substitution of four years.)

**Physical Requirements:**

* Ability to travel up to 75% throughout North America

* Ability to sit for extended periods of time

* Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of spoken word and/or written communication
