Warranty Cancellations Clerk

Principle Auto is looking for a detail-oriented Warranty Cancellations Clerk to join our Shared Services and Accounting team As our Warranty Cancellations Clerk you have a strong attention to detail and often catch the specific items that many people may overlook. Your internal customers will be Principle Auto associates, our vendors and contractors. You'll provide value by treating all customers with the highest sense of integrity, honesty and respect.

Responsibilities of the Insurance & Warranty Admin

Principle Auto Group is seeking an experienced Warranty Cancellations Clerk to join our Automotive Group to work with our Finance Team as it relates to submission and set up of our warranty and insurance products. The successful candidate will have a background in working in an insurance office role, as well as previous experience working in office administrative functions for an insurance agency or company. As an Insurance Admin, you will work closely with our vendors, clients, and managers within the group to ensure that all insurance products and policies are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • Processes payment of all services rendered
  • Manage, organize and track all customer paperwork & claims
  • Timely processing of all warranty contracts and payments to ensure warranty and products are set up for the customer appropriately.
  • Manages and oversees timely cancelations for the automotive group when initiated by the customer of Finance Manager at the dealership.
  • Processes invoices, cancellations and refunds for sold insurance products for the automotive group.
  • Manages GAP contracts, and submission of all required paperwork to the vendors.
  • Assists finance department to ensure that all deals have the necessary and proper documentation for proper billing and titling
  • Submitting and following up on warranty claims to various manufactures and providers as required by the dealership
  • Works with vendors to process cancellations and refunds as requested from the clients.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to customers when they have questions regarding their warranty and any submitted cancelations.
  • Liaison between administrative staff and home office directors with updates on the status of updates, submissions and cancellations.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge and skills related to insurance policies and products
  • Provide support to the automotive group by processing and managing warranty and insurance policies, with a focus on the warranty cancellation process.
  • Collaborate with vendors, clients, and managers to ensure that all policies and procedures are followed and ensure that requests are processed in a timely manner.
Requirements

Qualifications of the Warranty Cancellations Clerk
  • 2+ years of experience working in an insurance office role
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of insurance policies and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Customer service-oriented with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and vendors
  • Knowledgeable of GAAP and a dedication to ongoing education including changing regulations
