Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required - Chemical, Mechanical , Material Engineer preferred. 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment - preferably with Quality, Laboratory or other associated technical function. 1+ years of experience supervising and mentoring quality inspectors and technicians. Gauge calibration & Measurement System Analysis knowledge and experience required. Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (ability to interpret data and train/coach others in use) ISO-9001/AS-9100 QMS knowledge and experience required. Management of Quality Testing Laboratory (physical, mechanical, analytical testing & evaluations) to support routine & nonroutine material & product testing- both to enable product certification generation & also support product & process improvements. Management of Calibration system (>3000 gages) to ensure viability of critical measuring devices used for product acceptance and process control. Management &; Coordination of Nonconforming Material Control process, including directed efforts at expedient dispositioning of N/C material, HOLD inventory reduction, analysis of N/C material to facilitate root cause corrective actions. Member of the internal auditing team, conduct internal audits, LPAs and assist in tracking audit reports and implement corrective actions.
