Position Overview:

As an Electrical Engineer Quality Manager at Power Magnetics, you will report directly to the President and

be instrumental in designing, developing, and improving our range of magnetic components. This role requires

a blend of technical expertise, creativity, a commitment to quality, and strong leadership skills. You will

collaborate closely with our manufacturing, quality, and business development teams to ensure that our

products meet the highest standards and our customers evolving needs. Working with our recognized experts,

you will have the opportunity to enhance your skills, grow as an engineer, and take on significant

responsibilities within our management team.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

 Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks.

 Prepare price quotes for customer and otherwise provide technical/sales support.

 Generate customer drawings and manufacturing design packets, including bill of material.

 Comfortable Working directly with manufacturing employees to answer questions and resolve issues.

 Design and develop transformers, inductors, reactors, and power supplies.

 Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.

 Generate test reports to present to customers

 Manage and create testing workbooks

 Quality Control Manager- Train test technicians

Qualifications:

 Degree in Electrical Engineering – alternate training may be considered.

 Proficiency in Excel and Solid Works/ Inventor software.

 Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

 Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

 Strong mechanical and practical skills.

 Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

 Must be able to work independently.
