PRIMARY PURPOSE: Responsible for management of Patient Access Center staff productivity to optimize service delivery and ensure patient safety. MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS Education: Must have a High school diploma. Prefer Associates' Degree or higher. Experience: Must have three (3) years of customer service experience in customer service environment with direct customer / patient contact Must have three (3) years' experience in a medium to high volume administrative or call center (> 40k interactions or calls per month) environment (can be concurrent with customer service). Prefer experience as a team lead or equivalent. Prefer experience in healthcare environment. Prefer experience using Cisco CUIC Equivalent Education and/or Experience: May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for both the education and the experience requirements. Certification/Registration/Licensure: None. Skills or Special Abilities: Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to adapt to change as business needs require. Must possess advanced organizational skills; able to multi-task Must be analytical and fact based; demonstrated problem solving skills. Must possess basic knowledge of PCs; intermediate knowledge and use of MS Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio. Basic knowledge and experience with call recording and monitoring software such as Higher Ground's Calibre or equivalent Creative and able to effectively deliver presentations and training programs, both classroom and via WebEx or similar technology. Must be able to demonstrate initiative, and independent judgment in resolving schedule-related issues. Ability to communicate professionally with a variety of audiences and levels of Parkland's staff; demonstrate both verbal and written communication skills.
