The Opportunity:
Avantor, a Global Fortune 500 company is looking for a dedicated Lead Cleanroom Technician to optimize our Biopharma organization. This on- site Devens, MA role is full-time working Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM.
If you have manufacturing cleanroom experience lets talk
Minimum Education Requirement:
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience
Required Experience (2+ years):
- Following safety/ quality standards
- Complying with company policies
- In a production cleanroom environment and/or demonstrated proficiency in cleanroom assembly.
- Working cross functionally with company team members
- Collaboration Tools (IE: Microsoft Office)
Preferred Experience:
- Acting as a liaison with management and Technicians.
- Training team members on new production protocols.
- Building various Single-Use assemblies per work instructions, prints, cleaning and packaging.
- Reading, understanding and following SOPs.
- Complying with ISO regulations.
- Complying with cGMP regulations.
- Maintaining company product quality standards based on corporate quality goals.
- Leadership
- Interpreting engineering drawings
- Lean manufacturing concepts
- Problem-solving
- Performing other duties as assigned.
How you will thrive and create an impact:
The Lead Cleanroom Technician is instrumental in enforcing compliance of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPEs) and responsible for reporting all near miss and first aid events.
While functioning as a subject matter expert on assembly related issues, this role will identify product offerings and advise on recommended assembly processes. As a Lead you will ensure Technicians are following work procedures.
While identifying process deviations the Lead Cleanroom Technician will take immediate action to mitigate events and be responsible for proper cleanroom preparation activities.
While demonstrating an independent work ability you will utilize business level communication skills and participate in continuous improvement processes.
As a team member that possess flexibility, forward- thinking and motivation, you will demonstrate these skills in our Biopharma manufacturing environment.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
