Job Summary:

Astrix Technology is seeking a skilled Cleanroom Assembly Technician to join our team. As a Cleanroom Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for building, cleaning, and packaging of various Single-Use assemblies in a controlled environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, clean, and package Single-Use assemblies according to Engineering Process Records (EPR), drawings, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and report near miss and first aid events.
  • Follow cleanroom protocols and cGMPs to maintain an ISO Class 7 environment.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement process and follow change control procedures.
  • Escalate potential process and/or product deviations to prevent scrap, rework, and customer returns.
  • Maintain daily organization and cleanliness of work area and common areas.
  • Assist with inventory accuracy by returning unused parts and components to stock.
  • Meet internal manufacturing schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Complete and sign-off EPRs for each operation completed during assembly.
  • Complete assemblies within allotted time stated on the work order.
  • Instill a build it right the first-time mentality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School completion or equivalent (GED).
  • 1-2 years experience in production in a cleanroom environment.
  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment, interpreting engineering drawings, and knowledge of Lean manufacturing.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Perform duties with the highest regard to safety and quality.
