Cleanroom Assembly Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Cleanroom Assembly Technician to join our team at Astrix Technology. As a Cleanroom Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for building, cleaning, and packaging various Single-Use assemblies in a controlled environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build, clean, and package Single-Use assemblies according to Engineering Process Records (EPR), drawings, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and report near misses and first aid events
  • Follow cleanroom protocols and cGMPs to maintain an ISO Class 7 environment
  • Participate in the continuous improvement process and follow change control procedures
  • Escalate potential process and/or product deviations to prevent scrap, rework, and customer returns
  • Organize and maintain a clean work area and common areas
  • Assist with inventory accuracy by returning unused parts and components to stock
  • Meet internal manufacturing schedules to ensure on-time delivery
  • Complete and sign-off EPRs for each operation completed during assembly
Requirements:
  • High School completion or equivalent (GED)
  • 1-2 years experience in production in a cleanroom environment
  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment, interpreting engineering drawings, and knowledge of Lean manufacturing
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to perform duties with the highest regard to safety and quality
