Position Summary Piko Provisions seeks a Farmer's Market & Special Events Manager, hungry to make a change in our local food system by helping to execute our farmer's market and special event initiatives. This person will be responsible for coordinating and executing farmer's markets and special events to maximize community impact and achieve goals for the organization. Preferred skills and qualifications Consumer packaged goods company and/or farm experience preferred Experience in organizing and having run special events (farmers markets, sporting activities, product demos, food shows, trade shows, etc.) Knowledge of in-person product sales and marketing Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Excel Excellent interpersonal, communication, relationships management and presentation skills. Clear communicator, both verbally as well as in written form Self-starting, motivated entrepreneurial business orientation Thrives in a startup environment but is also comfortable in a more corporate setting Strong sense of job ownership coupled with a solid team/collaborative work style and orientation Complex problem-solving and multitasking capabilities with high attention to detail Innovative, resourceful, caring, and creative thinker Highly organized, with a strong, attention-to-detail approach to execution Cultural competency to work well with all people from diverse backgrounds.
