We are seeking a highly motivated, customer service driven individual to join our Foodland team as Produce Supervisor.

As a supervisor, you will be responsible for store level execution on merchandising, quality, and financial performance of the Produce department.


Essential Functions include:
Visit stores on a regular basis to provide support and check on conditions and merchandising of produce items.
Ensure stores are following through with department initiatives.

Review and analyze published weekly reports by the company to identify and suggest corrections as they relate to sales, gross margins, ordering and merchandising.

Complete required/requested reports in an accurate and timely manner.
Build, develop, and maintain effective and productive working relationships within cross-functional teams (District Managers, Store Directors, Purchasing Department, Stores, Distribution Center, etc.)
Train and direct store personnel on operations, service, and company/department guidelines.

Qualifications:

College degree preferred, High School degree or equivalent required.
Minimum of three years' experience with retail, merchandising, and management preferred.
Produce experience preferred.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Can successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to make solid decisions quickly based on limited information.
Capable of interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Self-directed; able to meet deadlines.
Must possess strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently, as well as with a team.

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as knowledge of MS Word, and Excel Must be willing to travel.
