BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

Running a business in Hawaii is deeply challenging. That's why our team is focused on helping local companies understand how ProService can help them, from our unique HR solution and best local service to our community programs that help businesses gather, connect, and exchange ideas.

The purpose of the Business Development Representative (BDR) is to drive quality prospects to our sales team. This role is the key bridge between the Marketing and Sales teams working the middle of the Sales and Marketing funnel. Dedicated to following up on key Marketing activities via phone and email; this individual is a key voice of ProService in developing qualified leads for the Sales team. This role will drive live engagements with prospects; nurturing groups that are either not ready for a Sales engagement and/or communication of ProService value propositions to drive prospect awareness.

  • Receive and follow up on inbound inquiries from web-based Marketing campaigns and other advertising in offline media. Ensure every interaction is a positive, professional, and courteous experience. Protect company and customer information in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Outbound calling to follow up on client and internal referrals, as appropriate, follow-up to nurture campaigns and generation of leads calling on target prospects from lists. Follow a prescribed sales outreach cadence/ prioritization for maximum effectiveness. Educate, qualify, set expectations, and overcome objections to develop new sales opportunities. Achieve established activity targets for the number of outbound calls / hours spent conducting calls to meet so you can exceed lead quotas for setting first meetings.
  • Navigate the lead delivery system to review and manage assigned leads, document activity, and update or submit information, as necessary. Accurately capture basic lead data including prospect company and contact information in SalesForce for activity tracking and profile updates.
  • Hand off qualified leads to Sales Team (BDMS ) by following distribution processes and criteria. Adhere to internal policies and procedures in conducting sales calls and coordinating Qualified lead handoff to Sales Team Members.

The base compensation for this position is $57,200.00 to $60,000.00 annualized depending on experience and qualifications. This role is eligible for an additional compensation incentive in the form of performance based commissions/bonuses.


WHAT WE'D LIKE YOU TO HAVE

  • Experience
    • 3+ years of customer experience is required.
    • Prior PEO or financial advisory experience a plus.
    • Demonstrated ability in advising and educating customers on services and products is required.
    • Prior experience working with Salesforce, CRM, Hubspot, or similar platforms are required.
