Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Supply Chain Analyst to join our project-based company. The ideal candidate will leverage their IT background to optimize our supply chain operations, support efficient project execution, and enhance strategic decision-making through data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights.
    • Perform cost-benefit analyses to support procurement and supply chain decisions.
  • Process Optimization:
    • Evaluate and enhance supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely project delivery.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and streamline workflows.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for ongoing and upcoming projects while minimizing excess stock.
    • Coordinate with suppliers and project managers to align inventory with project schedules and demands.
  • Supplier Coordination:
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply of materials and services.
    • Assist in negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable conditions.
    • Support the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process by preparing RFQs, contacting suppliers, and following up with additional questions to gather necessary information.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity.
    • Monitor and respond to disruptions in the supply chain, including delays, shortages, and quality issues.
  • Project Support:
    • Provide analytical support for project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with supply chain capabilities and constraints.
    • Assist in the development of project timelines and resource allocation plans.
Qualifications
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, IT, or a related role, preferably in a project-based environment.
    • Experience with data analysis and process optimization.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
    • Proficiency in supply chain software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, inventory management software).
    • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Excel, BI tools).
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Technical proficiency, especially in IT systems and software relevant to supply chain operations.
