ConnectPay USA - Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager (BDM) your focus is to lead and scale a team of Inside Sales AE’s and BDR’s to generate new clients and qualified opportunities for the sales organization. The role includes management of an established Career Path Program beginning with the BDR Team maturing into Inside Sales Account Executives. Continued support of team members including operational and administrative tasks to drive performance and bottom-line revenue.

Responsibilities: Manage Inbound Top of the Funnel Lead Flow into the organization. Prospect, qualify and distribute opportunities by region to Sales Leadership and field Account Executives. In partnership with our Organic Sales Leaders and Sales Representatives, identify business and market opportunities. Coach Inside Sales AE’s and BDR’s on efficient prospecting and lead qualification methods. Ensure team members are aligned with internal Quoting and Order Entry procedures. Conduct high volume prospecting campaigns to qualify leads via calls, emails, and social media. Build and maintain the prospect pipeline, competitor database and maintain data hygiene across the team. Track sales metrics and report data to leadership weekly. Meet pre-determined New Client Generation and Revenue Goals. Ensure the effective usage of the CRM and other sales applications.

Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree: business and marketing majors preferred. • 5+ years in a sales management role within SAAS, Payroll or Financial Industry preferred. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Solid track record of hiring, training and developing motivated salespeople. • Strong leadership skills & ability to hold sales teams accountable to KPI’s and revenue goals • Entrepreneurial in nature with a passion for developing business. • Experience with CRM software (HUBspot, Zoho). • Experience managing and leveraging Lead Gen Platforms (ZoomInfo, DataAxle). • Experience in sales operations and/or marketing automation software preferred.
