Operations & Licensing Coordinator

The Operations & Licensing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring Brown & Brown's office procedures are maintained with respect to mail, phones, reception and general office support, and that they are handled in a manner that facilitates customer service and supports internal processes and procedures.

*This role has a hybrid schedule of 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home*

How You Will Contribute

  • Co-lead processing and distributing daily mail and general email for the office
  • Cover receptionist breaks/lunches or as needed, managing the phones and greeting guests
  • Assist with bank deposit duties as assigned
  • Support formatting documents in PowerPoint
  • Contact building management on issues affecting security and facilities maintenance
  • Ensure that kitchen and conference rooms are kept clean and well stocked
  • Coordinate welcome package and operational setup for new teammates
  • Other duties or special projects may be assigned
Skills & Experience to Be Successful
  • High school diploma or equivalent; one (1) to two (2) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training
  • Proficient with Microsoft products such as Outlook, Excel and Office365
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • AMS360 experience or skills to learn software program at a basic level at an accelerated ability
  • Basic understanding of insurance and business terminology is preferred
