If you are an **Accounting** professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you Based in our **Rushville, Indiana location.**

**As Controller, you will:**

You direct the financial activities of the Rushville, IN manufacturing facility. You establish and maintain effective customer relationships and partner with others to get things done. You facilitate breakthroughs by integrating diverse views and finding common ground or acceptable alternatives. You provide timely and helpful information to individuals across the organization, following through on commitments and ensuring others do the same.

**RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

+ Develops department operating budget and monitors performance. Takes corrective action(s) to ensure budgets are met within acceptable guidelines.

+ Develops and/or monitors purchasing and material analysts to ensure consistent parts supply for producing departments.

+ Analyzes market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability and prepares market analysis reports.

+ Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.

+ Arranges for disposal of surplus materials.

+ Develops and/or monitors production scheduling and product mix to ensure efficient production flow.

+ Develops and/or monitors material handling systems to ensure parts and finished goods are handled quickly and efficiently.

+ Analyzes and plans work force utilization, efficiency and reduction of waste.

+ Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.

+ Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

+ Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

**SCHEDULE:**

The Controller position is an onsite position with the core work hours of Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.

**REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:**

List education requirements first

+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related area.

+ 5 - 10 years of related experience and 1 - 3 years of supervisory experience.

+ Must be proficient in Excel

+ Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

**PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:**

+ MBA

+ 10+ years related experience plus 5 or more years of supervisory experience

+ Oracle experience preferred
