Job Title: Senior Manager or Associate Director - SEC Reporting

Info on job: Role will be responsible for owning the SEC reporting function, 10K, 10Q preparation as well as technical accounting but will also get involved in the day to day operational GL accounting. Senior Manager/Associate Director - Technical Accounting/SEC Reporting

Prepare SEC Reporting 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K, S-8 and other filings as required

Research accounting pronouncements and draft technical memos to implement the impacts on the financial statements

Maintain quarterly reporting timetable and monitor progress against reporting cycle milestones

Ensure and document compliance with internal policies, SOX controls, and regulations relating to US GAAP and SEC requirements.

Assist in communicating to key stakeholders, the impacts of new or proposed accounting interpretations, pronouncements or other technical literature

Draft and update accounting policies, as needed

Matching disclosures with appropriate supporting schedules, and recording and storing internal approvals for SEC filings

What you bring to the role:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Business; Masters degree and/or MBA preferred.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - required.

5+ years of experience in public accounting, or a public/industry accounting mix, with technical accounting and public company reporting experience

Strong grasp of accounting principles, including US GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance

Strong inter-personal, oral and written communication skills
